Have been here multiple times over the past few years with my friends and partner. I LOVE coming here when I’m craving a seafood meal. Absolute favourite thing to order was the cavatappi pasta which is now sadly off the menu and I hope they bring it back! They also always have the freshest oysters. Pro tip: only order oysters during months with an ‘r’ (January, February, March, April, September, October, November, December) and they’ll be the freshest! Atmosphere is great and service has always been amazing.
Had a lovely dinner with a friend last night. The smashed guacamole with chips was a great starter to share. I then had a cup of seafood chowder because it was cold outside and that was quite delicious. I had this along with one fish taco which was also very tasty. The mojito was yummy too!
The tuna ceviche was the star of the night, closely followed by the lobster rolls. The guacamole was also delicious. Great location, great atmosphere. Washrooms are down a steep staircase.

I also can't get enough of their steamed mussels and spicy calamari; both dishes are bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked every time. My husband is a huge fan of their fish and chips, and he orders it every time without fail. The crispy batter and tender fish keep him coming back, and he never gets tired of it. This place was awesome! We were on a road trip from Niagara Falls to Ottawa and were looking for non-chain restaurants and we stumbled upon Dianne’s. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, great staff, and the food, omg the food was so good. The Mexican street corn 11/10 and the tacos! Were delicious. I would definitely come back here. Side note: they had the quality TP in the bathrooms
I've been to Mexico like 3 times and yet I've never had seafood there. But now, after dining at a Mexican seafood restaurant named Dianne's in Kingston, I can confidently say that I have never eaten Mexican seafood and that I got the beef instead because it's my favourite. My friend got the fish and chips though, you should go ask him what he thought about it. Krill!
Absolutely phenomenal experience at Dianne’s Fish and Chips! The food was incredibly fresh- crispy, golden fish with perfectly seasoned fries and the kind of coleslaw that actually makes you want to eat every bite. But what truly made our visit special was the outstanding service from Ryan. He was warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Ryan went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right, and his friendly attitude added so much to the experience. Highly recommend this place not only for the amazing food but also for the top-notch service. We’ll definitely be coming back- thank you, Ryan!
